“But our league record (bottom of the Dolphin Autos Anglian Combination Premier Division) shows that we do not score enough goals, something we will try and put right in training. All must then be ready for the battle at home to Brandon this Saturday.”
Meet The Elms 1 (kick-off 2pm).
Hindringham 0, Lowestoft Reserves 1
HINDRINGHAM entertained a young Lowestoft side and made changes. In came Clipston and Chilvers for Parsley and Thomas East. Manager Marcus Oliver was unable to make the trip due to illness.
Hindringham started at a fast rate, pinned Lowestoft back into their own half and got in behind a flat Lowesoft back four several times but seemed to have left their scoring boots at home.

Scott Gray controlled on the edge of the box and let fly with a shot which cannoned back of the bar and bounced on the line. The keeper turned around and picked the ball up.
Chilvers and Clispston both delivered dangerous crosses which were not put away, West, Betts and Gray all going close.
Anything which was played forward by Lowestoft was dealt with easily by Tagg, East and Defew who all looked solid throughout.
Hindringham continued to play to the same pattern during the second half with Belton, Coslett and West winning the midfield battle, creating space and chances for the strikers, which were all missed.
The pressure was on the defence to keep a clean sheet, but when Chilvers brought down a Lowestoft forward in the box, he stepped up and converted the spot kick. Hindringham then threw everything at Lowestoft, who stood firm.
