Hindringham went to second placed Acle without several key players, calling on Guy Elliot to play in goal for Richard Osler, who is out for the season after injury helping out the reserves.

Hindringham went to second placed Acle without several key players, calling on Guy Elliot to play in goal for Richard Osler, who is out for the season after injury helping out the reserves.

Hindringham were looking for the pace of Scott Gray to get behind the Acle defence, but they defended well and took a two-goal lead into the break.

Second half Hindringham got tight and competed all over the pitch.

Chilvers was an influence down the left, and from one of his runs inside the ball fell to Coslett 30 yards out and he blasted home. But five minutes later all Hindringham's hard work was undone from a poor header of which the Acle striker took advantage. Acle added a fourth with the last kick as Hindringham pressed.

On Saturday Blofield visit The Elms, 2pm ko.

Hindringham bounced back with a 4-3 win at Dersingham Tuesday night.
