Horse trials return to Burnham Market
A parade of world champions will be heading for north Norfolk over Easter to compete at the SPC Holdings Burnham Market International Horse Trials.Among the stellar cast already know to be taking part at Sussex Farm from April 1-3 are Zara Phillips, double Olympic gold medallist Mark Todd, world No 1 William Fox-Pitt, Norfolk's European silver medallist Piggy French, Olympic bronze medallist Sharon Hunt and Pippa Funnell, Mary King and Lucinda Green.

The event is a great family day out with a food fair, more than 50 trade stands and fun for children. There will also be terrier and lurcher races and falconry displays.
Friday and Saturday, April 2 and 3 will see novice classes going through all disciplines with the Saturday also involving the international dressage. The event climaxes with the international show jumping and cross country on the Saturday.
Entry prices are Thursday: adult �4, child free; Friday: adult �6, child �4, family ticket (2+2) �18; Saturday: adult �7, child �5, Family ticket �22.
Sussex Farm is west of Burnham Market on a narrow lane between B1155 and B1153.
