Volunteers spent a weekend starting work on a refurbishment plan at Fakenham Rugby Club which will continue during the summer break in play.
The project is being made possible by a link-up with new main sponsors Jewson, whose branch manager Andy Wordingham has given great support and encouragement, said director of rugby Alan Young.
Advertising boards are going around the pitch, with tickets to match day-luncheons, and the refurbished clubhouse will be available for functions or meetings. Young said of the new deal: “We look forward to a mutually fruitful relationship over the next few years.”
