Gallow players Neil Moulton, Steven Lowe, Paul Shackcloth and Jamie Chestney won the National Men's Fours Zone final at Lakeside 22 shots to 10, against four players from Lynnsport.

The Gallow team played well throughout, the Lynn team deciding to concede after 18 of the scheduled 21 ends had been played. Gallow now go to Nottingham to play in the National Final.

Three Gallow players, Daniel Ballantyne, Dean Johnson and Shaun Savory, were selected to play in the Norfolk U25 county team against Cambridgeshire at Dereham IBC. The Norfolk team won on both rinks.

During the winter, 80 young bowlers from the county competed in the English Bowls Youth Development Scheme heats for the Norfolk county final.

After scoring well in his two stages to date, Gallow junior Jake Biggs now progresses to the regional event to be held later this month at the Chesterton IBC at Cambridge.

The Gallow Ladies' B team are having a very successful season. They have now won the last two games and, depending upon the results of other teams, could finish second in the league.

The game against Old Hall, Ashill at home was a 6 points to 2 win, 75 shots to 57.

In the game against Pinewood B at home, the Ladies' B team played extremely well to beat a strong Pinewood team 7-1, 58-42 shots.

The Gallow Men's B team managed a draw at Shotford, 3� points, and 74 shots each. They have now moved out of the relegation positions but still need good results from their remaining three games to stay in Division Three.
