FAKENHAM-based Highlight Baton Twirlers have brought three national titles back to their home town.
The National Team Festival Week held at the UEA, Norwich and the Marina Centre, Great Yarmouth saw their competitors travel from all over the country, but this very successful club won national titles at dance twirl, freestyle tea and pom pom team. They also achieved three second places in an amazing year for results.
They had already achieved two individual titles in May and to add these results was a true reflection on their training, commitment and enjoyment of the world of baton twirling.
Club leader Dawn Humphrey said she was extremely proud of all of the athletes. They had truly deserved this recognition as their performances were outstanding and professional in every way. She thanked all parents and supporters for their continued commitment to the club. They will be holding a fundraising bingo at Barsham Village Hall on Friday, November 20 at 7.30pm, all welcome.
