New ladies' captain for golf club

At Fakenham Golf Club ladies' section annual meeting, president Chrissie Drewry welcomed a well- attended session and remarked on an extremely busy and enjoyable year.

At Fakenham Golf Club ladies' section annual meeting, president Chrissie Drewry welcomed a well- attended session and remarked on an extremely busy and enjoyable year.

She thanked both the committee and fellow members for their support. Her intention this year would be to continue to take the club forward and endeavour to encourage members to serve on committee.

Retiring captain Pam Smith expressed her appreciation for the help she had received throughout her year of office. Incoming captain Rose Conyers thanked her and introduced her vice-captain Jan Cotton.

Other elected members were Stevie Irons secretary, Val Griffiths treasurer, Vickie Cunningham handicap secretary, Renee Dennis, Jean Seppings and Angela Foreman.
