Fakenham Town, still searching for their first league win after 11 Ridgeons One matches, on Saturday face section leaders Newmarket Town in a bottom against top contest (3pm).
On Tuesday night the Ghosts followed Saturday's home 4-1 defeat by Diss (see page 55) with a 2-0 reverse at Downham, a team in the bottom five.
The Ghosts' form has mystified many, for on paper they are as good, man for man, as most sides in their division. And the players have rarely shown anything but dedication to a cause for which they battle well.
Yet statistics show them with one point with 10 goals scored against 39 conceded.
Supporters will be looking for consolation in the Norfolk Senior Cup, in which the Ghosts entertain Loddon United, who are joint top of the Anglian Combination Premier.
