Wells Town 1, Kings Lynn Res 2
The Seasiders’ first pre-season friendly was a fast and furious test against King’s Lynn’s UCL Reserves Section side with a good mix of youth and experience.
Sutherland Gray broke the deadlock for the home side when he pounced onto a loose ball. The visitors equalised with a good move that finished with a neat chip into the net.
The match looked to be a deadlock until a powerful shot flew in from the underside of Wells’ cross-bar.
The Seasiders have been drawn away to Hindringham in the Knockout Cup on September 10 and will visit Spixworth in the second round of the Norfolk Senior Cup on September 24.
