Fakenham Conservative Club B of Division One entertained Weasenham Fox & Hounds A of the second division in the second leg of the Derek Smith Memorial Shield final.

The Fox led 5-4 from the first leg, having at one stage been 5-1 in front. At Fakenham, the Conservative Club, in a close, sporting session, led 9-8 but lost the final doubles which meant a play-off between the captains to decide the trophy. That went to the Weasenham team.
