cycling footballers: To celebrate their promotion from Crown Fire Central and South Norfolk League Division Three, members of the Rampant Horse Football Club, Fakenham, organised a charity bike ride to raise funds for East Angilan Air Ambulance and for the club. Starting at The Rampant Horse they went through Barsham, Walsingham, and Wighton before stopping for fish and chips on Wells Quay. Being a pub football team, it was only natural to stop off at some other pubs on the journey and sample a few beers. The kindness of staff at The Bull in Little Walsingham, The Carpenters Arms in Wighton, The Ark Royal in Wells and The Rampant Horse in Fakenham – who all donated – is much appreciated and so far the money raised exceeds 500 for the Air Ambulance and 200 for club funds. The team also wish to thank Ag and Beanie at the Rampant Horse for providing after-match food and sponsoring them, as well as Tom Barnes, plasterer, who provided shirts for the Tour de Pubs. Cyclists: Adam Guymer, Adam Green, Richard Claxton, Dean Williamson, Stewart Barker, Daniel Rose, Alex Bird, Russ Gale, Mark Ramm and Chris Amphlett.
