The Seasiders travelled to Rivers Park on Saturday in search of further points to secure senior status. Both sides had regular players missing.
Wells keeper Molyneux was in fine form as he pulled off several top-drawer saves to keep the Seasiders in the contest. Wells started to create chances but good keeping from Stalham's Nicholls denied them. Wells lost Davies early on with a twisted knee.
The Seasiders are now nine matches undefeated, which a few months ago would have been a dream. With three matches remaining the future is looking much brighter.
Wells Town host Attleborough Town on Saturday, 2.30pm Beach Road. Wells Reserves travel to North Walsham Res on Saturday, ko 2pm.
On Tuesday, Wells visit Mattishall (6.30pm).
