Fakenham skipper Mike Smith led from the front with a brilliant unbeaten century as Norwich were swept aside in the second game of the Polorus Norfolk 20/20 tournament at Horsford on Tuesday night.

Fakenham skipper Mike Smith led from the front with a brilliant unbeaten century as Norwich were swept aside in the second game of the Polorus Norfolk 20/20 tournament at Horsford on Tuesday night.

Smith plundered eight sixes on his way to 139 not out which puts him in pole position in the Hansells Roll of Honour (page 55).

Paul Dunger hit 47 in a 205-1 total after Fakenham won the toss and decided to bat. Shell-shocked Norwich were dismissed for 113.
