Recently the Fakenham Falcons team took to the road to represent Norfolk softball in the national championships in London.
Over the course of a full weekend, the group played 10 games against teams from around the UK in graded competition.
Ultimately the team ended with a highly respectable five and five record which was another firm indication of the progress made during the summer.
Plans are already well under way to develop the sport further.
A junior league is well established and the sport has excellent links with local schools.
