On a day when none of the sextet of Norfolk EAPL teams could muster a win, it was Great Witchingham who came the closest.

Against bottom club Halstead, in-form James Spelman continued his golden summer with another century scoring 111, with his Norfolk colleague Sam Arthurton the other chief contributor with an unbeaten 77 in Great Witchingham's total of 233 for one.
