FAKENHAM junior squash players enjoyed more success in the latest round of the county grand prix with 12 juniors in the January tournament held at East Anglia Squash club in Norwich.
FAKENHAM junior squash players enjoyed more success in the latest round of the county grand prix with 12 juniors in the January tournament held at East Anglia Squash club in Norwich.
Eight-year-old Josh Sinkins, playing in his first grand prix, and with a large Fakenham crowd cheering him on, finished fourth in his group.
Jade Spalding, Jackson Yaxley, Brandon Fairbrother and Drew Butchart playing, with Drew and Brandon finished second in their groups.
Fast-improving Oli Bacon-Hilton won group four and Leyton James just came out on top in a very close final in group three.
There were also wins for Jack Wells in his first grand prix, Mark Croft who battled hard, Connor Doy and the ever-popular Sam Langan. The last Fakenham player to finish was Adam Sinkins who fell at the last hurdle in group two to finish runner-up.
