The Fakenham club's men's squash side continued its fine start to the new winter league with a third win on the trot 19-7 in an evenly-fought match at home to Norwich side Bannatynes II.

Young Adam Sinkins won in four sets but the Norwich side fought back with a close five-set match as Fakenham's Ian Raisbury could not quite find enough fitness and points in the last leg.

Fakenham pressure worked as 15-year-old Connor Doy quickly wrapped up a 3-0 victory and the match was made safe for Fakenham as their captain Bruce Bushell won 3-1 against a tricky opponent.

The final match saw another five sets as Michael Baron started slowly, losing the first two sets, then played some good squash and for the second week running came back and won 3-2. Next match home to Wensum Lodge from Norwich
