Bad weather continued to plague the cricket season as Fakenham were again frustrated by the rain on Saturday.
Ben Harvey’s side travelled to Barton Turf to face Ashmanhaugh & Barton Wanderers and dismissed the hosts for 158. Heavy rain denied Fakenham the chance to chase their target, but they at least gained one point on leaders Norwich, who suffered a similar fate in their game against Lowestoft.
This Saturday, Fakenham host third from bottom Sprowston, while Norwich are at fifth-placed Vauxhall Mallards A.
The title rivals face each other at Postwick the following weekend.
