The Seasiders played hosts to newly promoted Reepham and let a two-goal lead slip in this first match of the new season.

It was the Robins who looked the sharper in the early stages, Bramble and Page both wasting chances. Fulford saved well as Howard loomed in on goal.

The second period saw Wells more in the contest. Frary had a good header blocked by the visitors' keeper but Cawston volleyed home the loose ball to the delight of the large crowd. A 65th minute a Wick corner found found C East who gave the keeper no chance with his first goal for Wells.

The visitors reduced the arrears from a Belton penalty on 75 minutes, and an 85th free kick saw Belton score the equaliser for Reepham.
