THE Dereham & Fakenham Times Friendly Cup was played at Clipbush Park, Fakenham on Sunday when the weather was kind and the rain held off until the trophy presentation at the end.
THE Dereham & Fakenham Times Friendly Cup was played at Clipbush Park, Fakenham on Sunday when the weather was kind and the rain held off until the trophy presentation at the end.
In the four mini soccer games, Fakenham Town won three, Dereham Town one.
In the 11-a-side games, Fakenham won two and Dereham three, Fakenham narrowly winning over the whole day five games to four.
The trophy was presented to the Fakenham U16 captain by Nigel Allen, chairman of Fakenham Town FC.
Dereham stage the return next year.
