The programme for the tenth Brancaster Midsummer Music Festival will feature a wide selection of classical music in May and June at three locations: Holkham Hall, Brancaster and Thornham.

Booking for festival Friends has just opened.

Highlights this year will include tributes to mark 200 years since the death of Haydn, and first visits by the Endellion String Quartet and the London Concertante.

Helen Reid will perform at a piano recital at the opening event on Sunday, May 24 at St Mary's Church, Brancaster (6pm), when the programme includes works by Debussy, Haydn, Gershwin, Schubert and Rachmaninov.

The Holkham concert is on Friday, June 12 (7.30pm) and features the Endellion quartet playing works by Haydn, Elgar and Schubert.

Then the final concert will be at All Saints' Church, Thornham, on Saturday, June 20 (7.30pm). The London Concertante will play quintets and a sextet by Mozart, Brahms and Ireland.

Tickets go on general sale at the festival office at 16 Anchorage View, Brancaster, from April 9.
