Poetry-next-the-Sea and the RSPB, with The Pattesley Singers, are staging a concert comprising music, word and image entitled In Celebration of Birds at The Granary Theatre, Wells, on Saturday, May 30 at 7.30pm.
Tickets costing �7 are available from The Grapevine Gallery, Overy Road, Burnham Market. They can also be reserved by e-mailing Marion Mardall marion@mmardall.orangehome.co.uk or will be available on the night.
The programme includes Elgar's Chanson de Matin and Chanson de Nuit, poems about ducks, robins, skylarks and rooks, Keats' Ode to a Nightingale followed by A Nightingale Sang in Berkley Square and There Once was an Ugly Duckling, followed by The Silver Swan.
