Holkham's popular Country Fair is being held in the magnificent parkland this year on July 18 and 19.

The grand ring will include the roar of the Flying Gunners motorcycle display, freefall parachutes, the Minden Band of the Queen's Division, falconry, aerobatics, terrier racing, vintage cars and more.

New to the Fine Food Village will be an all-day programme in the cookery demonstration tent, and among those joining will be Chris Coubrough (from The Crown Hotel, Wells), Eric Snaith (Titchwell Manor), Chris Gates (MasterChef finalist); and Matthew Gudgin of BBC Radio Norfolk will be doing a slot as a sous chef.

Organiser Christopher Lloyd Owen said: “As usual Holkham will have something for everybody, and we're delighted that so many top people are coming to cook for us in our bespoke demo tent: the Country Fair will be two days of fun in a rather gloomy year.”

Over 200 Trade Stands, a children's fairground, plenty of showground events - including a top clay pigeon shoot, fishing, dog events and more complete the line-up.

Entry for adults is 13 on both days: accompanied children 14 and under enter free. Car parking is free and dogs are welcome on leads. Gates open at 9am.
