He has been a popular live performer for years, and now keyboard wizard Pete Shaw is coming to Briston.

Mr Shaw is heading to the village near Melton Constable for a concert on Friday, March 23.

A spokesman for the gig said: “Pete has been in the music business for many years, as a keyboard player, and as half of the award-winning vocal and keyboard duo ‘Saremma’, but now he is forging a career on the organ and keyboard circuit with his Korg multi-keyboard custom instrument. He plays and sings all styles of music, so whatever your taste, there will be loads for you to enjoy.”

The gig, which will take place at the Copeman Centre, follows another successful performance at the venue featuring organist Martin Orbidans on February 16.

Tickets for the show, which starts at 7.30pm, are £6 by calling 01263 860844. Under 16s go free. There will also be a raffle and refreshments raise funds to help improve the facilities at the hall.
