With its big skies, magnificent sunsets, picturesque villages and coastal splendour, Norfolk provides much inspiration for local artists. This is evident from the large number of artists and art groups flourishing in the local communities.

With its big skies, magnificent sunsets, picturesque villages and coastal splendour, Norfolk provides much inspiration for local artists. This is evident from the large number of artists and art groups flourishing in the local communities.

The 6th Syderstone Art Exhibition provides an ideal opportunity to see a selection of their work, as over 80 paintings will be on display there. The exhibition takes place in the historic 12th century round-tower church at Syderstone, close to Fakenham. Most of the paintings are for sale with prices ranging from 25 up to several hundred pounds, so there should be something within the reach of most people to own an original work of art!

In parallel with the exhibition, the local art group, Art @ Amy Robsart are holding a sale of their arts and crafts in the Amy Robsart village hall across the road from the church.

The Art Exhibition begins on Saturday and continues until next Wednesday. Opening times noon to 4.30pm each day. The Art and Craft display is open at the same times but only during the during the weekend.
